Meet Theodora
Fine artist and founder Theodora Miller channels her Greek heritage and warm, vibrant spirit into everything she creates.
Through her paintings, ceramics, textiles, and wallpaper, she offers visual poetry that lives in layers. A passionate traveler and cultural explorer, she encourages you to embrace the world with ageless curiosity and play by offering soul-driven workshops and retreats.

Her Story
Theodora’s love of art began when she was a young girl, spending summers in the Motherland, Greece, surrounded by family and the vibrant colors of the Mediterranean landscape. These memories have remained a lifelong inspiration. The daughter of a Greek immigrant, Theodora was encouraged to pursue higher education. As the years passed, her childhood passion took a backseat as she built a career and a family.

Theodora’s path took an abrupt turn with a traumatic brain injury.
Her recovery required long periods of isolation, so she turned to painting as a form of meditation that became her sanctuary. Through painting, she found healing, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. Ultimately, she traded the boardroom for brushes and transformed her pain into an abundant creative life.

Her Work
Theodora uses intuitive brushstrokes, gestural marks, and layered textures that build a rich narrative over time. She is known for artwork inspired by her Greek heritage, often incorporating symbols, motifs, and colors from the Mediterranean. Art lovers covet her paintings from the 7 Wishes, Grammata, and Blooming Girls collections.
Her Ancestral Collection, a debut line of fabrics and wallpaper, is a natural expansion of Theodora's creative practice, preserving both process and moments in time – each brushstroke a whisper, each hue a memory. With artwork held in corporate, healthcare, and private collections around the world, Theodora’s influence reaches far beyond her studio and home in Richmond, Virginia. Frequent visits to the Aegean Sea replenish her soul for the next adventure.
