You can shop directly through the website: theodoramiller.com. VIP email subscribers get early access to new collections before they become available to the public on the website. In addition, you can look at the list of galleries and boutiques across the U.S. who carry Theodora’s artwork and gifts.
Artwork and ceramics are carefully packaged with protective materials to ensure safe delivery. Most often, we use UPS or USPS and provide tracking numbers. Larger pieces may require custom shipping or courier service, and we can discuss options together. Artwork orders are packaged and shipped weekly.

The average commissioned painting typically take 5–6 weeks to complete, though timing could vary greatly based on the size and complexity of the project.
Each handmade piece contains unique character, shape, and imperfections — all imprints of the artistic process and the hand of the maker.
Fully glazed pieces are lead-free and food safe. Though durable for the dishwasher, we recommend hand washing to preserve them over time. Take caution with unglazed pieces that remain porous.
Fabric & Wallpaper
Samples are small cuttings, also called “memos” to the trade, to help you make a purchase decision. Fabric samples are 8” x 8” and wallpaper samples are 8” x 10”. Samples allow you to review the ground material, pattern, and color.
Please note that we are unable to guarantee which part of the design you will receive as a sample. There could be slight shifts in color between dye lots, so the sample you receive may not be an exact color match to your final order. When you place orders for your interior projects, we strongly recommend ordering 20% extra to ensure you have enough in the same dye lot.
Yes. To avoid disappointment, we always recommend ordering a swatch so that you can see our textiles in person prior to placing your full order. Swatches can be ordered on each individual product page.
Since every project is unique, we strongly recommend working with a design professional for fabric/wallcovering estimates. strongly recommend professional installation and requesting yardage estimates from your seamstress or wallpaper installer. It’s best to order a bit extra to ensure the same dye lot is used in your entire project.
We only stock samples and very small quantities in the studio to showcase the patterns to in-person clients. To prevent waste, all fabric and wallpaper orders are print-to-order.
We are unable to guarantee an exact match between fabrics and wallcoverings.
When we created our collection, we did our best to have colorways that translate across different grounds so they coordinate. There are inherent differences between fabric and wallpaper types and the printing process for each (i.e., 50/50 Linen Cotton blends, clay-coated paper, Type II commercial paper, etc.)

All of our wallcoverings are:
- Untrimmed, to be trimmed by your professional wallpaper installer.
- Unposted, professional installation strongly recommended
- Zero VOC and PVC-free, created with non-toxic, fiber-based materials
- Made in the USA
- Rated ASTM E-84 Class A fire rate
Our Smooth Clay-coated Non-woven wallpaper is best used for residential installation. It’s weight/thickness is 9 mil. It is dimensionally stable and has a traditional clay coating to enhance the surface and give it a true matte finish.
Our Smooth Type II wallpaper is a traditional Non-woven wallcovering is best used for high-traffic residential and commercial spaces.
Dry cleaning recommended for fabrics. For wallpaper, we recommend that prompt cleaning of spills and splatters is essential to maintaining that just-installed look. Wipe with a clean cloth and warm, soapy water. Do not use harsh chemicals.
Theodora Miller fabrics are sold by the yard with a 2-yard minimum per order.
Theodora Miller wallcoverings are sold at a width of 54” (printed 52”) and a vertical measurement of one yard. Orders are printed as a continuous roll. If you would like to place an order with a specific roll length (instead of a continuous roll), send an email with your specifics to contact@theodoramiller.com. Requests for multiple rolls cut to a specific yardage will incur a cutting fee of $75 per order.
Shipping & Returns
These items ship out within 5 business days via UPS or USPS from Theodora’s studio in Richmond, Virginia.
All fabric and wallpaper are print-to-order in the U.S. and shipped directly from our trusted partner. They ship via UPS and you are provided a tracking number. Our typical lead time for fabric and wallpaper is 4 - 6 weeks. Allow additional time for custom orders.
Due to the handmade and original nature of artwork and print-to-order fabrics/wallpaper, all sales are final. For additional details, please review the Return Policy.
We carefully inspect all artwork before shipping. On rare occasions, damages may happen during transit. Therefore, we request that you carefully inspect all purchases upon arrival. Any damages noted at time of delivery must be shared within 48 hours. We replace damaged items in our sole discretion.
